The Cisco SFP-10G-SR Compatible 10Gb/s SFP plus Transceiver is an enhanced SFP+ fiber optic transceiver with dual LC connector supporting transmission at 10 Gb/s up to 300m over OM3 multimode fiber (MMF) using a wavelength of 850nm. The transceiver is compliant with IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-SR standard. Digital diagnostics monitoring (DOM) functionality (alarm and warning features) is integrated into the design via an I2C serial interface per the Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) SFF-8472.
